Here's how a week in AssistantBud works.
Eight short chapters, and each one has something you can try.
Planner
Lists on the left, your week on the right.
Every task starts in a colour-coded list. When you know which day it belongs to, drag it across. Try it below, or type a task of your own into one of the lists.

- Task details
- Give a task a priority, a start and end time, a location with a map, and its own notes page.
- Review the week
- On a computer, go through what's unfinished and move each task to a day, keep it, send it back to its list or drop it.
- Daily progress
- Turn on a bar under each day that fills up as you tick tasks off.
Notes
Start notes from a template with the structure already there.
Pick a template to see what it gives you. Notes open in read mode so they stay tidy. Switch to edit when you want to change something.

- Ten kinds of block
- Headings, lists, checkboxes, quotes, callouts and dividers. Type # or - to start one.
- Drag to reorder
- In edit mode, grab any block and move it somewhere else.
- Saves as you type
- Every change is saved a moment after you stop typing.
- Pages for your plans
- Tasks, events and habits can each open a notes page of their own. Save any note as a template too.
Habits
Tick off habits in the same place you plan.
Your habits appear in the planner every day, so you can tick them off while you plan. Tap a day below to try it.
- Streaks and a trail
- The habits page shows each habit's current streak and its last 14 days.
- A notes page each
- Open a notes page for any habit to keep track of how it's going.
- Your order, your colours
- Drag habits into the order you do them and give each one its own colour.
- On your home screen
- The Android Habits widget lets you tick them off without opening the app.
Events
Events get their own space and still show up in your week.
Keep the details of a trip, an exam week or a night out in one place, and choose which events appear in the planner. Click a day with a dot to open its event.

- Any days you like
- Choose the weekdays, and make it all day or give it a start and end time.
- Notes come along
- Notes on the routine are copied into every task it creates.
- Change your mind
- Edit the routine any time. Delete it and the tasks it already made stay put.

Workspaces
Plan with a group in a space of its own.
Create a workspace for a group project, share its join code, and switch between it and your personal planner. Try the switch below.
- Join with a code
- Everyone joins with the same short code and picks a nickname.
- Colours for people
- Each member gets a colour, so you can see who has what at a glance.
- Assign and mention
- Assign tasks, comment on them, and @mention someone to send them a notification.
- Kept apart
- Group tasks stay in the workspace, and your habits stay private.
- PriyaOwner
- Sam
- You
Priya: @Sam can you add the sample sizes before Thursday?
Make it yours
Set it up the way you like it.
Pick one of five looks for the whole app, keep your goals in view, and put your day on your phone. Try a theme on this page.
Goal 1 of 3
Read 12 books this year
- Goals in view
- Your goals rotate in the planner every few seconds. Hover over one to hold it.
- Android widgets
- Today and Habits widgets let you tick things off from your home screen.
- Install it
- Add the web app to your phone or computer straight from the browser.
- Planner works offline
- Changes to your tasks made offline are saved and synced when you reconnect.
Make an account and plan this week.
It's free. Empty your head into the lists, then drag each task to the day it fits.
